Well today I have dedicated my day to getting my office reorganized and I put on the TV and there was Dr. Phil with a couple that was in huge financial crisis. So I listened to what was being said and I was almost floored! The Husband was a Mortgage Banker and the wife had been laid off and could not find a job, they were facing foreclosure and had depleted all savings and had sold whatever they could to try to make ends meet. They were hounded by collection companies and as I listened I was nodding my head and may have even talked to the TV and told it “your right” and maybe an even “that’s what I have been saying!” As the show progressed I listened to a few other couples and the circumstances which had “gotten them in the mess they were in”
The Guest Speaker was Loral Langemeier, (Millionaire Maker) and her main message was “You need the right people in your court” You need to know what the choices your making are and what the options and consequences are. Most of the people who appeared had already made these choices and (mistakes) and were now trying to dig themselves out of the hole-trench-valley-seemingly endless pit…. Loral spoke with each of the couples and the one common theme with what she said was “HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR CORNER” and then she suggested to get a COACH to explain and suggest alternatives BEFORE you meet with the salesman. Yes readers, Loan Officer‘s are SALESPERSONS, and so are REALTORS…they want to sell you the product.
I have to admit I was in total agreement. I as Your Mortgage Loan Coach feel that informed choices, and honest explanations of procedures, guidelines, timetables, and products are a vital part of “Getting the Mortgage YOU Deserve”. She is known as the Millionaire Maker, She has helped many people create new money instead of focusing on the debts they have. I also have to admit that I almost have to focus on getting my financial situation in order and easily managed before I could devote time, energy and money to “find new money”.
After watching Dr. Phil this morning I am more energized than ever to get my message out.
