I came across this video and wanted to share this with my readers as it contains some very good information if you are ever in the position of having your identity STOLEN.

According to the FTC 10 MILLION PEOPLE have fallen prey to identity thieves, amounts in excess of 50 BILLION DOLLARS LOSS to companies and COSTING the VICTIMS over 5 BILLION DOLLARS TO CORRECT!

Here Are the 5 Most Important Steps to take if you believe you are a victim of Identity Theft:

1. Call your credit card companies to cancel your credit cards

2. Call the 3 major credit bureaus and have a Fraud Alert added to your Report.

3. Call the POLICE and get a written incident report

4. Call all the creditors who have extended credit and dispute any inaccurate accounts or charges.

5. Contact the FTC and file a formal complaint.
